London Pain Clinic provides administrative support for consultant-led pain medicine services.
Consultant fees relate to the professional medical services provided by the treating Consultant Specialist in Pain Medicine.
Where investigations, procedures, treatment, admission or facility-based care are required, these may be arranged at hospitals or other appropriately regulated healthcare providers and facilities where the treating consultant holds practising privileges or equivalent authorisation.
Those hospitals, healthcare providers and facilities are separate legal entities and are responsible for their own CQC registration where required, clinical governance arrangements, staffing, premises, equipment, inspection arrangements and facility services.
After assessment, the treating consultant may make recommendations regarding the most appropriate management options for you. This may include medication review, further investigations, outpatient procedures or day-case procedures where clinically appropriate.
Fees may include different elements, including consultant professional fees, hospital or facility charges, anaesthetic fees, pharmacy charges, consumables, imaging costs, pathology costs and other third-party provider charges.
